Gun Store Burglarized In Drive-Through On Scaggsville Road: HCPD
Police said a gun store in Howard County was burglarized after a stolen vehicle drove into the storefront.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Multiple guns were stolen from a firearms dealer off Scaggsville Road Wednesday morning, according to the Howard County Police Department. Officials said that to get into the store, the suspect(s) drove a vehicle through the front of it.
The commercial burglary occurred at 2 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12. Officers were dispatched to Fox's Firearms in the 11200 block of Scaggsville Road for a business alarm, police said.
What they found was a vehicle had driven into the storefront, according to officials. That vehicle had been reported stolen, and the investigation was ongoing.

A similar burglary occurred in Rockville Thursday morning. Police said that a stolen vehicle drove into a gun shop around 2:30 a.m. The store is about 30 minutes away from the location in Howard County.
Howard County Police Department spokeswoman Sherry Llewellyn told WBAL that investigators reached out to their counterparts in Montgomery County, which is "typical" in crimes where there is a similar pattern.

Officials in Montgomery County said they believe four suspects who are armed and dangerous are on the loose, while one was killed ramming a getaway car into a police cruiser.
