Halloween Trick-Or-Treat Hours For Laurel

LAUREL, MD — Wondering what time trick-or-treaters allowed to roam the streets on Halloween?

In the city of Laurel, super heroes, ghosts, and witches can hunt their neighborhoods for candy from 6-8 p.m., according to police.

You're going to want to dress warmly. The forecast calls for temperatures to dip into the 40s and even the 30s Tuesday night. Fortunately, it looks like things will be dry with a 0 percent chance of rain.

Here are a few tips before you go out:

DRIVERS: There will be children all about throughout the evening in places where you might not expect them. Reduce your speed and be alert at all times.
PARENTS: Make sure children are accompanied by an adult and traveling in groups. Inspect candy at home before allowing your children to eat it. Stick to neighborhoods you know. Make sure your child's costume isn't flammable and is very visible, and avoid using masks.
HOMEOWNERS: Keep your porch lights and other exterior lights turned on. Consider placing signs outside your home letting drivers know that children will be visiting your house. Report suspicious activity to the police.
