The first tour is scheduled for today and focuses on lower Main Street, Laurel’s Civil War history, and the development of the area into a commercial center. The walking tours begin at 10:30 a.m. and are about a mile in length. The cost is $5 per person. Space is limited to 15 people and masks and social distancing are required. 2. Six months before the Maryland City quadruple shooting, Jaime Hunnicutt stood before a Howard County district court judge in November, reading aloud a barrage of texts she received from a man who threatened to kill anybody who associated themselves with her. Judge Lisa Broten denied Hunnicutt a year-long, final protective order. According to police, six months later, the man killed Hunnicutt's son Ryan Lee, and her daughter-in-law Ivania Lee, then shot her 10-year-old grandson multiple times before killing himself.
