Laurel Announces Memorial Day Hours
City and Passport Offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, meaning a change in the trash and recycling schedule for that week.

From the City of Laurel: With Memorial Day fast approaching, Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that City and Passport Offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2017, in observance of those who gave their lives for our Country. This will mean a change in the trash and recycling schedule for that week.
Monday’s residential and commercial refuse and recyclables will be collected on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Tuesday’s residential refuse and recyclables will be collected on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. There will be no change to Wednesday’s regular commercial and residential refuse/recycling collection schedule.
There will be no Residential Special Pickup or Yard Debris collection scheduled for the week of Memorial Day. Public Works next Residential Special Pickup will be on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

You can schedule a Residential Special Pickup by either e-mailing dpw@laurel.md.us, calling the Department of Public Works at 301-725-0088 or you can sign up and submit your special pick up request through the MyLaurel app on the homepage of the City’s website, cityoflaurel.org.
