From the City of Laurel: Plan on attending this year’s National Night Out, being held on August 1, 2017, from 6 – 9pm at Laurel Lakes!

Mayor Craig A. Moe and Laurel’s Police Chief Richard P. McLaughlin invite residents and businesses to join the men and women of the Laurel Police Department for a night of events that will consist of various demonstrations from the Laurel Police Department, the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department, the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad, the Prince George’s County Fire Department’s Bomb Squad and displays from area organizations. There will also be lots of games and food!

National Night Out was created to inform the public about various police and community programs such as drug prevention initiatives and neighborhood watch groups that exist to keep people safe and fight crime in neighborhoods everywhere.
