Laurel Diner Named 'Best 24-Hour Restaurant' In Maryland

LAUREL, MD — Cosmopolitan compiled a list of the best 24-hour restaurants in each state, and a Laurel diner took Maryland's top spot. You probably already know which one — Tastee Diner.

With three locations serving Maryland since 1935, the Tastee Diners are iconic in the area. The other locations are in Bethesda and Silver Spring. All three locations are open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and serve breakfast at all times.

Cosmopolitan calls the Laurel location a "true gem of a diner:" Regulars usually sit at the counter, greeted by staff who they've come to know over the years, and the tables and chairs show just how long the diner has been around.

Tastee Diners serve authentic American food, with a heavy emphasis on breakfast and pie. Yelpers love the creamed chipped beef, limitless breakfast choices and the country fried steak with gravy.
