Man Stabbed While Breaking Up Fight Between Teens: Police

LAUREL, MD — Anne Arundel County officers are investigating a stabbing that happened Feb. 24 in the area of the Walmart/Sam's Club at 3549 Russett Green East. The incident occurred at approximately 9 p.m. and involved a 47-year-old man who attempted to break up a fight between half a dozen teenagers.

While intervening in the altercation, the man ended up being stabbed in the stomach by one of the teens. All of the juveniles took off on foot and the victim drove himself to the hospital. Detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-222-6155.
