Movie Fans from Vantage Point Attend Sundance Shorts on Tour
Arts & Culture Collective provides local excursions and programs on-site at retirement community

A contingent from the Residences at Vantage Point in Downtown Columbia received the royal treatment at a showing of Sundance Shorts on Tour presented by the Columbia Festival of the Arts recently at Howard Community College.
The movies – documentaries, animated films, experimental, as well as more conventional, short films – are a favorite of the festival crowd. As a sponsor of the festival, Vantage Point received some complimentary tickets, as well as special seating for its residents. The community’s shuttle brought the attendees to the theatre.
The group attended the outing as participants in the Residences at Vantage Point Arts & Culture Collective, which is presenting a series of programs at the retirement community, as well as excursions to arts and cultural events taking place elsewhere in the community, to highlight Columbia as the “campus” for residents of Vantage Point.
