Residences at Vantage Point is hosting a new Webinar series. Vantage Point Compass will include three sessions. The informative series will help participants make a S.M.A.R.T. (Savvy, Modern, Affordable, Ready to Go, Tech-Centric) plan for tomorrow.
“Is a Life Plan Community right for you?” is set for Tuesday, March 24, 1-3 p.m. Topics will include defining a life plan community, comparing senior living options, understanding contracts, service packages and price options, researching a senior living option, and comparing the cost of staying in your own home versus moving to a Life Plan Community.

The second session, “Smartsizing for S.M.A.R.T. Living” is set for Friday, April 3, 1-3 p.m. It will be presented by downsizing expert Katie Davis of WayForth, with real estate experts Lin Eagan of Long and Foster and Karla Pinato of Northrop Realty. Topics will include the liberating benefits of rightsizing, smartsizing mountains into manageable molehills, and staging and selling your home successfully.

“The importance of an estate plan checkup” is set for Tuesday, April 21, 1-3 p.m. It will be presented by attorney and estate law specialist Mark Bobotek from Golden Oak Elder Law. He will provide information on avoiding common estate planning pitfalls. He will also show how to ensure your estate plan is current, accurate, and will be executive as you intend. Topics will include why your estate plan should change as your life changes, how changes in the tax laws and tax codes affect your estate, ways to ensure the important people in your life will be cared for, and how to fulfill your philanthropic goals.
