Vehicle Fire On I-95 Southbound In Laurel Closes All But One Lane
A vehicle caught fire in the shoulder of Interstate 95 in Laurel, slowing commutes heading toward Washington.
LAUREL, MD — A vehicle fire on I-95 southbound closed three lanes in Laurel Friday morning. The fire happened just before exit 33 on MD-198, but traffic is slowed for more than five miles. Delays are extend past the junction of I-95 and MD-216.
The fire occurred in the right shoulder, leaving only the leftmost lane open. Officials say one bus was involved in the incident. It is not immediately clear whether this was a public or private bus.

UPDATE: As of 12:43, the scene is clear, and traffic is flowing smoothly again.
