What's Open, Closed In Laurel On July 4
The City of Laurel thanks you for your cooperation and wishes you a safe and happy 4th of July.
From the City of Laurel: Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that City and Passport Offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, to observe our Nation’s birthday.
Residential and commercial refuse and recyclables normally collected on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, will be collected on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. There will be no changes to Wednesday’s residential refuse and recycling collection.
There will be no Residential Special Pickup or Yard Debris collection scheduled for the week of the 4th of July. Public Works next Residential Special Pickup will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.

You can schedule a Residential Special Pickup by either e-mailing dpw@laurel.md.us, calling the Department of Public Works at 301-725-0088 or you can sign up for the MyLaurel app on the homepage of the City’s website, cityoflaurel.org, and submit requests to Public Works.
Remember, with it being Summer, if heat indexes are forecasted to be 90 degrees or above, collections will start at 7:00am that day, so be sure to have your trash and recyclables out to the curb early!
