Woman Forced Into Car After Being Struck By It: HoCo Police
Officers are asking for the public's help in finding the woman who may need medical attention after being hit by an Audi Wednesday.
LAUREL, MD — The Howard County Police Department needs the public's help in finding a woman who was hit by a newer model Audi and dragged into the vehicle, which then took off with the woman inside.
The incident occurred shortly before noon Wednesday in the parking lot of the McDonald's located in the 10000 block of Washington Boulevard (Route 1). The vehicle is described as a white 2018-2020 Audi Q3 or Q5 with a paper temporary tag for Maryland. The vehicle sustained damage to the driver's side front quarter panel, headlight assembly and grill, according to the police department.
Police believe the man and woman initially had a physical altercation inside the vehicle, which led to the woman getting out of the car. Video obtained by the police department shows the Audi leaving briefly before returning and driving directly at the victim, striking her and another vehicle. The driver exits the Audi and drags the woman into the car before fleeing, according to the department.
