4 Stabbed In Brawl At MoCo Park: Report
Four people were stabbed in a Thursday night brawl in a Montgomery County park following a soccer game, says media report.

SILVER SPRING, MD — The Maryland-National Capital Park Police are investigating a fight that broke out Thursday night at a Montgomery County park in which four people were stabbed, according to media reports. Police responded shortly before 10 p.m. to the scene at Hillandale Park at 10615 New Hampshire Ave., said a park police spokeswoman.
The fight occurred following a soccer game played in the park, radio station WTOP reported.
As the soccer game concluded, one soccer player assaulted an opposing player, the park police said. Then another player grabbed a PVC pipe, commonly used to make portable soccer goalposts, and the fight broke out, with several people injured.

Personnel with Montgomery County Fire and EMS treated four men who suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the attack, WTOP reported.
