Armed Suspect Robs Montgomery County Fast Food Restaurant

Police are looking for a man who robbed a Roy Rogers ​fast food restaurant while armed in Burtonsville last month.

BURTONSVILLE, MD — Police are searching for a man who committed an armed robbery at a Roy Rogers fast food restaurant in Burtonsville last month.

The man entered the restaurant at 15662 Old Columbia Pike at about 6 a.m. Friday, April 27.

The suspect pointed a gun at an employee and demanded cash from the business, police said.

The employee complied and the suspect fled from the restaurant on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division; Robbery Section at 240-773-5100. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or an indictment for this crime.
