Child Pornography Guilty Plea By Silver Spring Man
A Montgomery County man pleaded guilty to child pornography charges after police found over 14,000 photos and 285 videos in his possession.

GREENBELT, MD — A Montgomery County man pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography Friday, according to a statement by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Frank A. Dunn Jr., 60, of Burtonsville and Silver Spring, faces four to nine years in prison if the judge accepts his plea agreement.
The statement said police executed search warrants at Dunn's homes on May 31, 2017, where they found more than 14,000 photos and 285 videos of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
"The images and videos included approximately 1,123 files involving minors identified as victims of child pornography by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, files depicting the abuse of infants and toddlers, and files depicting sadomasochism or violence against children," the statement said.

Dunn also admitted he distributed child pornography over the Internet using peer-to-peer file sharing software. An undercover officer downloaded about 500 pictures and 15 videos that Dunn made available for sharing over the Internet between April and August 2016, the statement said.
As part of his plea agreement, Dunn must register as a sex offender. He is scheduled for sentencing on November 14, 2018.
