County To Stop Accepting Applications For $25M Relief Program

Montgomery County will stop accepting applications for its emergency grant program on April 25.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Small businesses and nonprofits hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic have until 5 p.m. on Saturday to apply for Montgomery County's Public Health Emergency Grant (PHEG) program.

The deadline was set after officials said they received more than 6,200 applications in a little more than a week.

The $25 million program provides up to $75,000 to struggling businesses and nonprofit organizations with 100 employees or fewer in Montgomery County.
