Eggspectation Permanently Closes In Downtown Silver Spring

SILVER SPRING, MD — Eggspectation, a casual restaurant chain specializing in breakfast fare, has closed in downtown Silver Spring.

The eatery made the announcement on its Facebook page Monday afternoon.

"While we would love nothing more than to be here each day, it is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close the Eggspectation location in Silver Spring due to the current climate," the restaurant wrote.

Eggspectation has several other locations in the Baltimore-Washington area, including in Ellicott City, Maryland, and Chantilly, Virginia.
