FBI Searching for Man Who Robbed 2 Silver Spring Banks

Authorities say the suspect was spotted with the same Detroit Lions hat during each incident.

The FBI is seeking information on a man who robbed two banks in Silver Spring and attempted to rob another in Baltimore.

Video footage shows the man, who witnesses describe as a 40-year-old black male, wearing the same Detroit Lions hat and dark sunglasses, for all of the robberies, WBAL TV 11 reported today.

The first was at  Capital One Bank at 11261 New Hampshire Avenue, in Silver Spring on April 21, while the second robbery occurred at Capital One Bank at 11241 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring on April 28. Agents believe the same man attempted to rob the Wells Fargo Wells Fargo Bank at 2320 Ashton Street, in Baltimore on April 21.
