Fire Breaks Out At Assisted Living Center In Olney
"Not ambulatory" residents were evacuated after a fire broke out at an assisted living center in Olney Tuesday morning, officials said.

OLNEY, MD — A fire broke out at an assisted living center in Olney Tuesday morning, officials said.
The fire was reported in the attic of Assisted Living in Olney, 16940 Georgia Ave., at about 6:35 a.m. Tuesday.
All residents re-populated at about 7 a.m. after the fire was put out, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.

Most residents are not able to walk, Piringer said.
Some lanes were blocked due to fire department activity on Georgia Avenue between Old Baltimore Road and Silo Inn Road.
