Flood Watch Issued For Montgomery County, Surrounding Areas
Parts of Maryland, including Montgomery County, are under a flood watch from Friday morning to Saturday morning.

SILVER SPRING, MD — The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Montgomery County and surrounding areas.
The flood watch will be in effect from 5 a.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday for Montgomery County. Forecasters say that the region might get one to two inches of rain — with much of it falling in a six to 12 hour timeframe.
Montgomery County may see some flooding, especially in small streams and low-lying urban areas, the National Weather Service said.

Some areas that may experience flooding include: Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg,Silver Spring, Columbia, Ellicott City, Glen Burnie, Laurel, Greenbelt, College Park, Clinton, Leesburg, McLean, Arlington, and Alexandria.
