SILVER SPRING, MD — Halloween will look a little — scratch that, a lot — different this year.
And while Montgomery County health officials warn against trick-or-treating, calling it a "high-risk" activity during COVID-19, there are several other ways to celebrate the holiday safely.
One option: checking out the many Montgomery County homes decked out for Halloween.

The display at 11423 Catalina Terrace in Silver Spring is a Patch favorite.
It's Holly Agouridis' sixth year decorating her home. And in the last two weeks, she's had about 40 people stop by "The Catalina Haunt."
