Montgomery County Work Week Forecast: Another Fantastic Week
It was a beautiful, almost spring-like week, and we may be in for more of the same in the coming days.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Have you enjoyed the weather lately? Good. Because you're about to get more of it.
It's going to be a damp Monday to start off the week in Montgomery County, but after that we have dry and mild weather that will feel more like spring than the summer that is almost upon us. And considering this summer is expected to be hotter than usual, enjoy this weather while you can.
Things will dry out in time for the Washington Capitals' championship parade on Tuesday morning, and temperatures will be lovely, hovering in the mid to upper 70s. The only downside is that it will be mostly cloudy, so not much sun.

On Wednesday we could get a little bit of a disturbance in the weather patterns, with temperatures in the mid 80s being disrupted by a cold front that could bring scattered showers and storms, according to the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang. However, all of that should be out of the area by the evening.
The National Weather Service says that the thunderstorms most likely would happen after 2 p.m. on Wednesday. NWS forecasters also say there is a decent chance of some showers and thunderstorms at some point on Thursday and Friday as well.

Other than that, however, Thursday and Friday will be excellent days, with both expected to be mostly sunny, although temperatures will be a little on the warm side with highs in the low to mid 80s. But at least humidity won't be too bad.
As for the weekend, so far it's looking like we'll avoid rain, although anything can happen this far out. Right now, CWG is calling for sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday with highs 80 to 85, and overnight lows in the 60s. NWS agrees that Sunday will be sunny, but they also say that Saturday has a decent chance of some showers.
