Earlier this month, the food and dining website published a list of "14 Essential Ethiopian Restaurants Around D.C." — and it looks like Beteseb Restaurant is a favorite in downtown Silver Spring.
Located at 8201 Georgia Ave., Beteseb Restaurant is a casual, family-owned establishment that offers sizable portions of flavorful Ethiopian staples, such as Misir Wot (split red lentil made with onion, hot red pepper, and ginger) and Beef Kitfo (Ethiopian steak tartar seasoned with herbed butter sauce and hot spiced chili powder).

The restaurant also serves breakfast. Dishes range from $6.99 to $17.99.
