Pointe View at Aspen Hill Reaches Leasing & Occupancy Milestones

Pennrose recently announced that Pointe View at Aspen Hill, a new high-quality, mixed-income senior community in Silver Spring, Maryland, has leased 65% of units with occupancy over 50%. Since opening its doors in December 2019, Pointe View at Aspen Hill has filled 62 of its 120 one- and two-bedroom units.

Located at 3136 Bel Pre Road, Pointe View at Aspen Hill features 61 one- and 59 two-bedroom apartments for individuals age 62 and older. Of the 120 total apartments, 108 units are set aside for residents at 30-60% of the Area Median Income (AMI), with 62 units designated as very low income. Each unit offers open floor plans with oversized windows, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, large closets, ceramic-tiled baths, and individually controlled heating and cooling.

In partnership with The Senior Connection, residents will also have access to an array of on-site supportive services, such as transportation resources, grocery shopping assistance, and help with bills and household paperwork, that promote an independent and healthy lifestyle.

Served by both the Montgomery County Transit Ride-On and WMATA bus lines, residents can conveniently access retail, dining, entertainment, health care and the county’s largest senior center. The development is also located close to the Layhill Shopping Plaza and Plaza Del Mercado.
