Police Investigate Burglary At Silver Spring Nonprofit
Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly burglarized a nonprofit organization's office in downtown Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are searching for two suspects who allegedly burglarized a nonprofit organization's office in downtown Silver Spring earlier this month.
The burglary occurred at the office of the refugee protection organization HIAS, at 1300 Spring St., on Sunday, Aug. 5, police said.
Business video surveillance shows the suspects inside the front lobby at about 5:19 p.m., police said.

"Detectives have not yet determined how the suspects gained entry into the business. The suspects stole items from the lobby desk area and from an office," a police statement said.
Anyone who recognizes these suspects or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 3rd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6870.

To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
