Police Seek Missing Silver Spring Man

Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing Silver Spring man who was last seen Wednesday.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing Silver Spring man.

Michael Wilder, 55, resides in a group home on Barron Street. He was last seen by caretakers at about 1:44 p.m. Wednesday, when he left the home on foot, police said.

Police and family are concerned for Wilder’s physical and emotional welfare.

Wilder is described by police as a white male, 5’5” and weighs 180 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, tan pants and tan shoes.

Wilder is known to frequent 7-Eleven convenience stores, Rite Aid pharmacies and liquor stores in the Takoma Park area, police said.
