Reopen Montgomery Small Business Grant Program Launches July 29

The $14 million grant program will reimburse county businesses and nonprofits for expenses incurred to comply with reopening requirements.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County on Wednesday launched a $14 million grant program for small businesses struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.

The "Reopen Montgomery Small Business Grant Program," which was created by the County Council, will reimburse local businesses and nonprofits for expenses incurred to comply with state and county COVID-19 reopening requirements.

Groups can receive up to $5,000 in grants.
