Report: Silver Spring Man Gets 12 Years in Prison for Stolen Credit Card Spree
Michael Dorsey targeted vehicles parked in exclusive neighborhoods and venues, WTOP.com reports.

A Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge convicted a 47-year-old Silver Spring man of stealing from cars parked in upscale neighborhoods and fancy venues, then using the stolen credit cards, WTOP.com reported.
Michael Dorsey was sentenced to 12 years in prison after being conicted of 22 counts of misdemeanor theft, felony theft, identity theft and misuse of a credit card, according to WTOP.com. Dorsey is waiting to be sentenced in a related theft case, which could add nearly five more years to his sentence.Â
Dorsey was accused of stealing from vehicles parked at spas, tennis and golf clubs and in Washington, DC, neighborhoods like Georgetown and The Palisades, with the thefts occurring between March and October 2011.Â
