Rosanne Geeraert Carney, 80, of Silver Spring and Rockville, MD, died Monday, May 11, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late John T. Carney, Jr. Mother of John T. “Jack” Carney, III and his wife Mary Pat Darragh, Matthew J. Carney, Jennifer Carney Duncan and her husband Michael and the late Tracy Carney Daniel. Grandmother of Tommy, Chrissy and Kathleen Carney, Cush and India Daniel; sister of Dee Dee Patterson; mother in-law of Peter Daniel.

Friends will be received at Pumphrey’s Colonial Funeral Home, 300 W. Montgomery Avenue (Rte. 28), in Rockville on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2900 Olney-Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD on Monday, May 18, at 11 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of her late daughter, Tracy, to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
