Silver Spring Liquor Store Reopens After Worker Gets COVID-19

A Silver Spring liquor store reopened Wednesday after it was temporarily closed because an employee tested positive for COVID-19​.​

SILVER SPRING, MD — The Flower Avenue Liquor and Wine store reopened Wednesday afternoon after it was temporarily closed because an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Montgomery County's Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) was made aware of the positive test on Wednesday, Jan. 20, according to a press release, and the store was closed immediately.

Flower Avenue Liquor and Wine, located at 8706-B Flower Ave. in Silver Spring, reopened at 12 p.m.
