Silver Spring Makes WalletHub's Most Diverse Cities In U.S. List

Silver Spring has made it onto WalletHub's "Most Diverse Cities in the U.S." list. Here's how well it ranked.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Silver Spring is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the United States, according to a new report from personal finance website WalletHub.

The organization compared 501 of the most populated U.S. cities across five metrics: socioeconomic diversity; cultural diversity; economic diversity; household diversity; and religious diversity. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale — with 100 representing the most diversity. The city's weighted average across all metrics was then used to calculate its overall score.

Topping the list is Houston, Texas (71.87 points), followed by Jersey City, New Jersey (71.70 points), New York, New York (71.59 points), and Dallas, Texas (71.52 points).
