WASHINGTON, DC — A Silver Spring man was arrested this week in connection with an assault that happened in June in Northwest Washington, D.C., following a heated argument, according to a report from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District.

Manuel Coronado was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, police said. The incident happened at about 2:15 p.m. on June 18 on the 7500 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.

An argument started between Coronado and the victim, police said, and the suspect showed a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim. Coronado eventually got in his car and left the scene, leaving the victim uninjured.
