Silver Spring Under Severe Thunderstorm Watch
Hail, damaging winds are possible during watch period, according to National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for several parts of Maryland, including Montgomery County.
The watch period is from 2:20 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, according to the National Weather Service.
During that time, isolated thunderstorms are anticipated, with damaging winds and large hail possible, the weather service reports.

The following areas are included in the watch: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, Talbot and Washington counties as well as Baltimore City.
