SILVER SPRING, MD — Here are some of the theater productions, live music performances and other weekend activities happening April 14-16 around Montgomery County.
Kick off your weekend with Bethesda's Gallery B's opening reception for their new exhibition "MFA & Gallery B," featuring a juried exhibition of Maryland Federation of Art members. The exhibition features sculpture, painting, photography, glass, mixed media and more.
Bring your whole family to Bunnyland at Butler's Orchard in Germantown either Friday or Saturday. Kids can go on hayrides, participate in an Easter egg hunt, ride pedal tractors, ride the giant slides, eat at food vendors and more.

Wrap up the weekend with a French cooking class at Mon Ami Gabi in Bethesda Sunday. In this class, participants will learn how to prepare steamed artichokes with shaved vegetables and lemon-dijon vinaigrette, spring vegetable pasta with radish, corn, poached egg and peach tarte tatin with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

- Gallery B's April exhibition is kicking off Friday, April 14 with an opening reception from 6-8 p.m. Address: 7700 Wisconsin Ave #E, Bethesda.
- Waverly Street Gallery is holding an opening reception for their new exhibition "Archetypes of Femininity," featuring sculptures by Cris Ianculescu. The opening reception is from 6-9 p.m. Friday at 4600 East West Highway #102, Bethesda.

- Step Lively's Spring Break Special includes trolley cartoons and story time for kids from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the National Capital Trolley Museum at 1313 Bonifant Rd., Colesville.
Saturday, April 15:
- If you have ever wanted to meditate but did not know how to begin, you can learn at the Meditation Museum at 11:30 a.m. at 9525 Georgia Avenue, Suite 101, Silver Spring.
- Head over to Glen Echo Park to see The Puppet Co. Playhouse production of The Three Billy Goats Gruff at either 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. The show runs for 40 minutes. Address: 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo.
- This Easter travel the road through Jerusalem as if you were in ancient Israel when the greatest man who ever lived walked the earth. JHDC presents: "Road To Resurrection" - A mini-tour featuring re-enactments from the final moments of Jesus' life on earth through to His Resurrection at 11:30 a.m. Address: 919 Philadelphia Ave., Silver Spring.
- DC-native, folk rock songwriter and NBC's The Voice breakout star Owen Danoff will perform at AMP at 8 p.m. Address: 11810 Grand Park Ave., North Bethesda.
- Celebrate Easter and spring at the "Arte di Primavera" exhibition at Arts Barn Gallery, featuring maidens, flowers, birds and landscapes portrayed in a variety of media and styles. Saturday hours are 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 311 Kent Square Rd., Gaithersburg.
- Head to The Farm Women's Market to find great food, drink and music with artisans, crafts and boutique businesses from around the Mid-Atlantic region from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Address: 7155 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda.
- Adventure Theatre and ATMTC Academy presents Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp at 4:30 p.m. Get ready for love, magic, and mystery in this production for all ages at Glen Echo Park at 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo.
Sunday, April 16:
- Interested in preparing French food? Mon Ami Gabi is holding a French Classics Cooking Class from 10 a.m. to noon at 7239 Woodmont Ave., Bethesda.
- Audubon Naturalist Society is holding a Bird Egg-Stravaganza featuring an egg hunt through their forest and meadow fields, nature-themed crafts, education stations and more. Address: Woodend Nature Sanctuary, 8940 Jones Mill Rd., Chevy Chase.
- The Glen Echo Park Partnership and the Washington Sculptors Group presents Sculpture REMIX 2017 from 12-6 p.m. at Popcorn Gallery and Stone Tower Gallery at Glen Ec, 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo.
