Snow Emergency Plan In Effect For Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A Snow Emergency Plan has been implemented in Montgomery County Thursday, forbidding residents from parking in snow emergency routes throughout the county.

The Maryland State Police Rockville Barrack is working with the State Highway Administration in snow clearing operations throughout the county.

All vehicles on the roadway must be equipped with snow chains or snow tires on both driving wheels of motor vehicles, officials said. In addition, a parking ban is imposed on all snow emergency routes in the County.
