Student Vaccine Clinic Wednesday At Montgomery Blair High School
MOCO public school students ages 12 and up can get their first vaccine dose at a clinic Wednesday, June 9, at Montgomery Blair High School.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Students can receive their first vaccine dose at a clinic at Montgomery Blair High School on Wednesday, June 9, from noon to 7 p.m. All students ages 12 and older in the district are welcome.
Students can register online in advance — appointments are 15 minutes apart throughout the day — or walk up to the clinic. It's being run by the county's Department of Health and Human Services, and the county has said it will accept walk-ins at its sites. The vaccine being administered at the Montgomery Blair clinic is Pfizer, which is approved for people under 18.

Find other vaccine sites for the rest of this week on the county's website. Other clinics with Pfizer vaccines (for people under 18) will run Thursday and Friday.

Fifty-five percent of Montgomery County residents are fully vaccinated and more than 60 percent have received at least one dose.

MCPS is planning to reopen in-person full time in the falls and all students will be expected to attend in-person, according to a letter from the district in May. Students in the district could choose to return to in-person learning in March this year, after a year of remote learning. The district has encouraged parents to get their children vaccinated.
