Suspect Robs Home, Uses Stolen Credit Card Around Silver Spring
Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a home in Silver Spring and used a stolen credit card at stores in the area.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a home in Silver Spring and used a stolen credit card at stores in the area.
Detectives believe the suspect broke into a home in the 1700 block of East West Highway sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday, May 12.
The suspect allegedly entered the occupied home through the rear door. He stole property, including credit cards, from the home, police said.

A suspect then used the stolen credit card at the 7-Eleven at 8455 Colesville Rd. and at the H&M store at 8518 Fenton St. in Silver Spring, police said.
This same suspect attempted to use the credit card at the Champs Sports store inside the Westfield Wheaton mall at 11160 Veirs Mill Rd. in Wheaton, but the transaction was declined.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online.
Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
