Talbot Avenue Bridge Reopens After Crews Fix Damaged Support Beam
The Talbot Avenue bridge in Silver Spring has reopened to pedestrian traffic after crews fixed a damaged support beam.

SILVER SPRING, MD — The Talbot Avenue bridge has reopened to pedestrian traffic after crews fixed a damaged support beam they discovered during a routine inspection in December.
In a press release on Wednesday, Montgomery County officials said repairs were made on Jan. 6 and the bridge was reopened to the public the following day.
The 100-year-old Talbot Avenue bridge carries vehicles and pedestrians over the CSX railroad tracks in Silver Spring.
