Teen Charged In Murder Of 18-Year-Old Rockville Resident
An 18-year-old from Burtonsville has been charged in the murder of Kennedy Merrit-Millet, a Rockville resident killed in Silver Spring.
SILVER SPRING, MD — An 18-year-old has been charged in the murder of Kennedy Merrit-Millet, an 18-year-old from Rockville who was killed in Silver Spring. Another teen was charged with robbery, which police say was in connection with the killing.
John Delonte Black, Jr., of Burtonsville, was charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail, the Montgomery County Police Department said. Annbel Sierra Massilon, 18 of Silver Spring, was charged with robbery.
Police said that Black and Massilon turned themselves in on Tuesday morning, after police had put out a notice asking for the public's help in finding them.

Police said they found Merrit-Millet while responding to reports of gunshots near Turbridge Drive and Greencastle Road in Silver Spring on June 22. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
