Thursday Kicks Off Silver Spring's Summer Concerts
Residents can enjoy a night of live music, dancing, games, prizes and more every Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building.

SILVER SPRING, MD — This Thursday is the start of Silver Spring's Summer Concerts that take place from June to August. Residents are invited to enjoy these free, outdoor concerts every Thursday from 7-9 p.m.
Silver Spring’s Summer Concerts are family-friendly, with dancing, face painting, games for the kids and music in a variety of styles. The concert series features a raffle with prizes for adults, as well as toys and gifts for kids. The raffle opens at 6:30 p.m. and is awarded at intermission.
Attendees may bring picnics or purchase food at one of the many nearby restaurants. The concerts take place at the Silver Spring Civic Building on Veterans Plaza, at Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive.

- August 3 – Moxie Blues Band - Blues
The concerts are sponsored by Discovery Communications, Live Nation, the Silver Spring Urban District, Montgomery County Recreation and the Foundation to Celebrate Downtown Silver Spring. Performances will be canceled if it is raining at 7 p.m.
