SILVER SPRING, MD — Maryland's primary election on June 2 will be conducted largely by mail due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Montgomery County residents still have time to mail in their ballots. Those who did not obtain a ballot or mail it in, can vote at a number of polling sites across the county.

Registered Republicans or Democrats voting in their party's primary elections can vote on candidates for president, delegates to the nominating conventions and in the case of Democrats, for the U.S. House of Representatives. Those who aren't affiliated with one of the major political parties can only cast a ballot in the Board of Education contests.
