1. Mandatory Meeting for Spring Sports: The Spring Sports Mandatory Meeting is being held on March 13 at 7 p.m. at the Collins Center. All those interested in playing spring sports must attend.

3. A Night with Author Martha Ackerman: "Author Martha Ackmann will speak about her book, Curveball: The Remarkable Story of Toni Stone the First Woman to Play Professional Baseball in the Negro League at Memorial Hall Library tonight at 7 p.m.  Baseball historians call Stone the "female Jackie Robinson" and the "best baseball player you've never heard of." Stone played against Satchel Paige, Willie Mays and Ernie Banks. When Henry Aaron moved from the Negro Leagues to the Boston Braves, Stone replaced him. Her story is not only about baseball, but also about how far passion, pride and determination can take one person in pursuit of a dream."
