This is for mothers who sat up with a sick toddler all night, arranged special childcare and still managed to get to work the next day.

This is for the mothers who give up careers or put them on hold to raise young children.

This is for mothers who sat up with a sick toddler all night, arranged special childcare and still managed to get to work the next day.

This is for the mothers who run carpools and make cookies and sew Halloween costumes.

This is for the mothers who at 8:30pm the night before run to purchase, cookies, cupcakes, costumes and whatever else is needed to make their child’s next day a success.

This is for the mothers whose priceless art collections are hanging on their refrigerator doors.

This is for the mothers whose priceless art collections are scattered around the house, still on the to do list.

This is for all the mothers that give up what is precious to them so that their children may have a better life.

This is for all mothers who taught their son’s to cook and their daughters to read a repair manual and fix a broken item.

This is for the mothers who taught their children to tie their shoes before school.

This is for the mothers who opted for Velcro instead.

This is for the mothers who gave their babies up so that they could have a better life.

This is for the mothers who raised them.

This is for the mothers who are waiting for their children to come safely home from the service.

This is for all the mothers whose children have gone astray, and cannot find the words to reach them.

This is for all the mothers whose children have become victims of tragedy.

This is for all the mothers whose children may have caused those tragedies.

This is for all the mothers who continue to help their children well into the golden years.

This is for all the mothers who can’t and are not here to do it.

This is for all the mothers who have suffered the greatest loss ever, the loss of a child.

This is for the mothers who continue to live after that loss.

This is for all mothers. Take care of yourself. Hang in there. We can only do the best we can. Love your children, pray for them and never give up hope.
