Almost 25% More Andover Residents Earning $1 Million A Year
In 2017, 300 Andover residents earned $1 million, an increase of 59 from the 2016.
ANDOVER, MA — There were 300 Marblehead residents who reported adjusted gross income of $1 million or more in 2017, the most recent year for which data is available. That was up 24.5 percent from 241 in 2016, according to Massachusetts Department of Revenue data.
According to the Boston Business Journal, which first reported this story, a strong economy and stock market led to aa statewide increase in the number of million-dollar-earners.
