Andover Coronavirus Cases Level Off, First Clinic Fills Up
The town's positive test rate and case counts held steady over the last week, after weeks of decline.
ANDOVER, MA — After weeks of decline, Andover's coronavirus numbers leveled out, according to the latest town-by-town coronavirus data released by the state Thursday.
The town's two-week positive test rate was 3.59 percent, versus 3.6 percent in last week's report. The town had 181 cases over that period, versus 187 last week.
The town remained moderate risk for infection, or yellow, according to the state's risk classification system.

Andover reported 107 active cases Thursday, for 2,136 cumulative cases including 114 deaths.

Registration for the town's first vaccine clinic for residents 75 and older filled up within three hours Thursday morning. The clinic, with 100 doses, is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
