Andover Coronavirus Test Rate Continues Fall, Hits 2.1 Percent
As of Thursday the town reported just 43 active cases of the virus.
ANDOVER, MA — Andover's coronavirus positive test rate and case count both continue to fall according to the latest town-by-town report released by the state Thursday.
The town's two-week positive test rate fell to 2.1 percent, from 2.4 percent last week. The two-week case count fell from 108 to 90.
The town reported just 43 active cases Thursday. The town has reported 2,267 total cases and 117 deaths.

Statewide, just 19 cities and towns were labeled high-risk for the coronavirus in Thursday's report, down from 28 last week.

There were 21.3 average daily cases per 100,000 residents of the state over the last two weeks, down from 23.3 in last week's report.
The commonwealth reported 1,410 coronavirus cases and 42 deaths Thursday.
