For the first time since a group of members participated in a horticultural tour of the Lowell Cemetery last October, Andover Garden Club members gathered in person, holding their annual meeting in a tent at the Lanam Club.

During the meeting, the club elected new officers. They are: Caroline Grady, president; Laura Bibler, vice president; Liz Bell, treasurer; Barbara Reichter, recording secretary; Nidhi Singhal, corresponding secretary; and Linda Carpenter-Ardito and Virginia Longely, directors.

Outgoing president Heather Moody Holman gave a recap of the previous year’s challenges and accomplishments, and she thanked board members for their work. Incoming president Grady presented Holman with a gift from the board.

Despite having benefited from a year of information-packed Zoom meetings, coordinated by Grady in her prior role as vice president and chair of the program committee, members are looking forward to the coming club year, when they expect to be able to regularly gather in person.
