Andover Has Overspent Snow Removal Budget

Thanks to all the snow we’ve experienced this winter, the town is over its snow removal budget.

Andover had budgeted $1.25 million for snow removal this year, but has spent $1.5 million, according to a report in the Eagle-Tribune.

The town is not alone:

North Andover has spent nearly double what it budgeted — $1.2 million spent, $750K budget;

Methuen — $1.4 million spent, $215K budget;

Lawrence — $1.2 million spent, $150K budget.
