Andover's Early-Bird Special for Playground & Outer Limits Ends Soon

ANDOVER, MA -- Rec Park Playground brings to mind hot days, swimming at the Pond, cookouts, and the kind of special friendships that last far beyond Labor Day. Children will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of age-appropriate fun activities including arts & crafts, swimming, boating, and games.

For the summer of 2017 Andover REC will be allowing kids entering grade 6 to attend either Rec Park Playground OR Outer Limits.

An optional field trip is scheduled for each Wednesday, additional fees apply. T-shirt included. Bring a lunch, snack, drink, bathing suit, sunscreen, water bottle, and towel each day.

By the Day: Playground Guests

Not sure if Rec Park is right for your child? Guests can try Rec Park Playground for a fee of $50 per day. There is a maximum of 10 visits per guest per summer. If you are an Andover resident and decide to register for the remainder of the summer, the money spent on $50/day will be applied towards your costs. Guests may participate in all activities excluding field trips.

Field Trips

Each Wednesday there is an optional field trip with additional fees for Rec Park Playground. Field Trips must be registered and paid for at the program site. Registration cannot take place in the REC Office. Field Trips will be advertised in the Summer booklet.

ALL participants (youth & adults) must have a completed & signed Emergency Information Sheet on file in order to participate in REC programs. Registration over the phone will not be permitted without an emergency sheet on file for the registrant.

Online registration requires a Waiver Form be electronically signed, however an Emergency Sheet is still required for all participants regardless of how registration occurs.

Emergency Sheets are available online at the REC website under “FORMS” or in the REC office and can be mailed, dropped off, emailed or faxed to REC.

NEW SUMMER REGISTRATION POLICY: Registration closes one week prior to the program beginning. A late fee of $25 will be charged to anyone registering within one week of the start date of a program. No refunds/credits available to those who register within one week of start date.
