Annual Andover Garden Club Plant Sale To Be Held June 2

Perennials from member gardens, herbs, gardening items, expert advice, and a children's activity all available at sale.

The Andover Garden Club (AGC) will hold its annual plant sale on Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The sale will take place in the Andover Townsman parking lot at 33 Chestnut St. (corner of Bartlett St. and Chestnut St.), across the street from the park.

Cochairs Liz Bell and Betty Cunningham report that a variety of plants will be offered for sale, including many perennial favorites from AGC gardens. Plants from these local gardens are field-tested for the Andover growing zone, and, in most cases, the divisions sold are considerably larger than those offered by garden centers. The sale will also include herbs from The HERB FARMacy in Salisbury.

AGC members and certified Massachusetts Master Gardeners will be on hand to offer “how to” advice on planting and growing the plants. Additional attractions include children’s activities and a white elephant stall with gently used tools, pots, books, etc.
